ADAM Otto (1901 Konstanz - 1973) "Stillleben" mit Büchern, Äpfeln und einer Topfpflanze, Öl auf Malkarton, rechts unten signiert, 38x46cm, R *Adam besuchte die Badische Landeskunstschule Karlsruhe und war Schüler von P. P. Gilles, Prof. August Babberger (Malklasse) sowie Meisterschüler von Prof. Albert Haueisen und Hermann Goebel. 1925 legte er sein Staatsexamen als Kunsterzieher ab und war als Maler und Kunsterzieher tätig. Adam war Mitglied der "Sezession Oberschwaben-Bodensee" und der Gruppe "Der kleine Kreis".*

Including a Bakelite tobacco stand, a 'Guinness' penguin and a Wedgwood ceramic penguin Condition Report: Guinness penguin with paint flecking and discolouration around its neck. Discolouration and marks visible elsewhere on the Guinness penguin. Ceramic Goebel penguin has a large chip on one of its feet. Penguin lid is lacking one eye. One ashtray has a crack through the centre. Penguin on tobacco stand lacking an eye and arm.
