Provenance: Collection of Harry Goodwin 1924-2013, resident photographer of the BBC's Top of the pops from its first programme in 1964 until 1973. Bequeathed by Harry Goodwin to The Christie charity Manchester and entered into sale by them.

An Eisenwerke Gaggenau, .182 cal. air pistol, circa 1905, the chrome metal body inscribed "Brevete" S.G.D.G. patent above scrolling design and chequer cut grip, fitted spring loaded grip integral action, 9in. long overall; together with screw key, darts and pellets in stained wood box. NB This is a copy of an 1878 Fluercheim pistol.
6th-9th century AD. A round-section hoop supporting a cupped bezel, hexagonal in plan with niello triangles and darts to the outer face, triangles to the shoulders; inset garnet cloison. 4.47 grams, 22mm overall, 17.73mm internal diameter (approximate size British O 1/2, USA 7 1/4, Europe 15.61, Japan 15) (1"). Property of a gentleman; acquired in the late 1960s-early 1970s. Fine condition.
Rolex - Gentleman's gold and steel cased watch head, ref: 4325, the signed silvered dial, marked 'Precision', and with gold hour and minute hands, seconds register at 6 o'clock, luminous Arabic numerals interspersed with darts, signed 17 jewel movement with 'Patented Super Balance;, (circa 1946), serial no: 426619, approximately 34mm diameter Condition: As the crown is missing it can not be determined if the movement functions. The gold outer case is fairly good, the crystal is loose, the dial is very discoloured, the seconds hand is missing. Movement is fairly clean and appears undamaged. The back cover has the Rolex Coronet, ser. No. an 'Modele Depose' in evidence - **General condition consistent with age
