Ajax were scheduled to play in the Final as European Cup Final holders but refused to participate so Panathinaikos agreed to enter as runners up although their home ground was deemed unfit by FIFA and their ''home'' leg tie was switched from Athens to arch rivals Olympiacos ground based in Piraeus. This was a 32-page issue which included welcome messages in Italian & English to page 3, the rest of the programme in Yugoslavian and included central page line-ups, very scarce. The volume also includes the 1973 European Cup Final review issue published by Red Star on 1 June 1973. Other issues include all five preview and review issues for the 1973 European Cup Red Star v Liverpool games (both legs) played in October & November 1973 plus various other Red Star issues in European Cup, Friendlies plus domestic League & Cup. In total there are 23 issues in the volume. Generally good

ROYAL ARSENAL 1891 Small card programme for the Kent County Football Association Senior Cup Semi-Final held at the Victoria Ground, Ashford for Arsenal, who were the holders, v. South-Eastern Rangers on 21/2/1891. Arsenal F.C. were formed in 1886 as Dial Square and then changed their name to Royal Arsenal. Arsenal subsequently turned professional and changed their name to Woolwich Arsenal before dropping the Woolwich shortly after moving to Highbury. The card has no creases, tears or writing and has no signs of wear. Good
