L. HALL. JUNE 2ND 1953', raised on stepped circular plinth, cup height without plinth, 5in. (12.7cm.), weight 14 tr.oz. * Very good, nothing to note.
A pair of carved oak 17th century style dining chairs, early 20th century, the rectangular backs and stuff over seats upholstered in studded mottled grey leather, the back with arcaded lower rail, on turned cup and cover front legs with block feet and H-stretcher, 34¼in. (87cm.) high, 19in. (48.25cm.) to seat. (2)
A Russian silver gilt twin handled cup, probably Aleksandr Karpov of St. Petersburg, 84 standard, mythical beast twin handles, the stem fashioned as a tree trunk and roots, capped by foliate canopy, holding the bowl, raised on circular foot, 3¼in. (8.2cm.) high, weight 3.1 tr.oz. * The circular foot needs to be tightened, rubbing to gilt throughout, handles bent, very pleasing, good.
Channel Islands interest - a George V silver trophy cup and cover, Cooper Brothers & Sons Ltd., Sheffield 1918, with leaf capped twin handles and flower bud finial to cover, later inscribed 'GOREY YACHT CLUB Power Boat Trophy Presented by COCA-COLA', raised on black stepped base with shield plaque 'John Jackson 1972', overall height 17½in. (44.5cm.), weight without base 29.6 tr.oz. * Finial slightly bent, light surface scratches, otherwise good.
An Anglo-Indian ivory, buffalo horn, sandalwood and porcupine quill inkstand, Vizagapatam, early 19th century, of elaborate tempietto form, the base with a full width drawer surmounted by a raised superstructure with quill holders and recesses for glass inkwells and soapstone paperweights (missing), the raised back surmounted by a tempietto section with lifting floor with single drawer, the roof with ivory and horn radial tiles and centred by a covered cup finial, flanked by buffalo horn foliate letter holders, faults, decorated throughout with porcupine quills and foliate engraved ivory, 16in. (40.75cm.) high. * A very similar example offered by Sotheby's London, Property from the Collection of Sir Gawaine and Lady Baillie, 1st May 2013, Lot 121. ** * Please note that this lot is subject to international CITES regulations. Ivory cannot be exported to the USA. It will be the buyer's responsibility to check that their country of residence will permit import with the correct documentation before bidding. Only two of the horn foliate envelope holders remain to the horn uprights on the tempietto section and one of the uprights has a bruised area towards the top. Lower border piece of ivory missing from the back of the main box - some quill pieces have been added to cover this loss. Otherwise only minor losses to quills and ivory at corners. 2in. shrinkage crack to wood to RH side panel. Lacks inkwells and paperweights which would originally have been present.
A Russian silver and cloisonné / champlevé enamel vodka cup, marked for Moscow, Lev Fridrikhovitch Oleks, 1894, typical form, decorated with stylised flowers and foliate scrolls in red, white and shades of blue, the top and bottom with turquoise cabochon bands, 2¼in. (5.7cm.) high, weight 1.6 tr.oz. * Slightly miss-shaped upper rim, two turquoise beads to top band and three to the bottom band with damage or partially missing, overall good.

(17.8cm.) high, weight 24.4 tr.oz. * Foot slightly bent, some small nibbles mainly to rim, some corrosion to inner, overall good.
Hong Kong Royal Golf Club interest - a George V silver octagonal trophy dish, Adie Bros. Ltd., Birm. 1934, the footed dish with foliate rim and twin loose handles, presentation inscription, 'Jasper Clark Cup 1935 Lieut. Col. H. H. Blake (152)' and arms of the Hong Kong Royal Golf Club to reverse, 3in. (7.5cm.) high, 5.68 tr.oz. * Marks good. One handle has been pushed inwards denting the silver a little. Otherwise good.
A Continental silver wager cup, probably Belgian, A835 grade silver, modelled as a figure in medieval dress holding a cup aloft, the supports in the form of mythical beasts, heavily embossed with foliate scrolls and centred to either side with winged angel holding birds in either hand, 8in. A Royal Crown Derby 'Green Derby Panel' pattern part dinner serviceprinted iron red factory marks, date codes for 1967-72, comprising eight 10½in. dinner plates; eight 8¼in. salad plates; ten 6¼in. side plates; nine twin handled soup bowls and saucers; nine tea cups and ten saucers; a gravy boat and stand; and a single lid for vegetable dish. (68)* One tea cup has a small hairline and one has some discolouration to the glaze to the inside. All other pieces in good condition, with only minor scratches to glaze and gilding from occasional use.

A Channel Islands silver Jersey pattern christening cup, maker's mark GS beneath a fleur-de-lys and coronet struck once below rim (unknown, Jersey, c.1680-1722), of large proportions, the deep, slightly planished cup form bowl in heavy gauge silver, with no foot and twin cast scroll handles, inscribed 'ALB' below rim, 1¾in. (4.6cm.) high, 5 5/8in. (14.4cm.) between handles, weight 5.6 tr.oz. * Maker's mark slightly rubbed, light surface scratches etc, overall very good.
