Clarice Cliff, 'Orange Chintz' pattern fern pot, Fantasque backstamp, 9cm high.Condition report:There is a fine hairline running down the wall of the pot, more easily spotted to the interior wall as on the exterior it travels under the glazes. You can just see the end on a brown flowerhead where there is a cluster of small glaze scratches. The interior wall also has a defect in the firing with a small irregularity on the surface. Elsewhere minor surface scathing and marks to the exterior glazes.
