Otherwise wear and tear conducive with age and use.The starfish plate - absolutely filthy, in need of a clean. There are losses of enamel to the border throughout. Otherwise general wear and tear conducive with age and use to include surface scratches etc.
A Clarice Cliff “Bizarre Fantasque” design waisted jug decorated with coastal seascape with two cottages and smoke rising from chimneys 17.5 cm high CONDITION REPORTS Has all over heavy crazing. Some chipping to the bottom rim. Appears to have been ground down on the bottom edge, possibly to remove a chip and later painted orange - not glazed so assume not part of manufacturing process. ASSORTED CLARICE CLIFF CROCUS PATTERN WARES & TWO BIARRITZ PLATES, comprising honey pot and cover (chipped/cracked), breakfast saucer 17cms diam (chipped), bread & butter plate 22.5cms diam. (restored chip) bowl 18cms diam, flower brick 9cms high, the purple/brown banded dinner plates, 18.5 and 23cms wide (7)The honeypot is chipped and cracked.The small plate is chipped.The bowl has paint wear around the rim.The large plate has been badly restored And has cutlery marks to the centre.The last two square plates and the holder have paint chips.
TWO CLARICE CLIFF RHODANTHE PATTERN DISHES, comprising a soup plate, 25cms diam. and a Leda shaped plate, 22.5cms diam, various printed marks (2)Regarding the plate, I could find no damage or restoration, a few light scratches, no crazing.The bowl has a hairline crack which you can see from both sides, more crazing and a lots more surface scratches.
A large Clarice Cliff Havre shape fruit bowl circa 1930, hand painted in the Liberty Stripe pattern with graduated bands of enamel colour, hand painted Libertys & Bizarre mark to the base, width 22cm, together with a saucer boat in the Ladore pattern and a twin handled Conical shape soup bowl and stand with banded decoration.
