An antique Percussion Pistol having an octagonal barrel tapering to round towards the muzzle and with captive ram-rod, the attractively scroll-engraved action bearing the name Wm. Jackson, the walnut having nice patina and chequered to the grip, the base having a hinged lidded compartment for percussion caps. In generally good condition but pawl to hammer damaged. Calibre 18.5 mm approx., barrel length 7'' approx., 13 3/4'' long overall, weight 795 gms., unengraved white metal cartouche to top of grip.
