The movement of the current lot could possibly be attributed to either Jacot or Drocourt as the form of platform lever escapement with its distinctive `butterfly` endpiece and shaped tail can be directly compared to the escapement used on a grande sonnerie clock by Jacot (number 825) illustrated in Allix, Charles CARRIAGE CLOCKS plate V/14 page 114, (see lot 69).
