Large late 19th Century French brass carriage clock with presentation inscription: 'Presented to Captain David Laidlaw on the Occasion of his Marriage by the Officers and Boys of the 60th Glasgow Company Boys Brigade, 12th October, 1892', having enamelled dial and original leather carrying case. CONDITION REPORT: Door is mis-shapen and recessed. Some wear to gilding. One glass cracked. Material is gilt brass. The clock winds and ticks but we do not test if working. No warranty. Measurements: 13.2cm x 9cm approximately plus case. Weight is 1.3kg plus case.
