* NEIL MACPHERSON RSA RSW RGI (SCOTTISH b. 1954), THE FIANCÉES oil on board, signed, titled label versoframed and under glassimage size 44cm x 37cm, overall size 60cm x 53cm Note: Neil MacPherson lives and works in Caithness, in the remote Scottish Highlands. His paintings are inspired by the changing seasons, history and folklore of this dramatic landscape. His work has been widely exhibited all over the world, in public and private collections. In Scotland, his paintings have been shown in the Scottish National Gallery of Modern Art, the Scottish Parliament Collection and the Gallery of Modern Art, in Glasgow.
