A Louis XIII walnut buffet à deux corps, 17th century, with carved panel doors and gadrooned detail, raised on bun feet,168cm wide66cm deep209cm highCondition ReportLot 217 General knocks, surface wear, chips, losses, splits, scratches, and repairs throughout, commensurate with age and use. Evidence of historic woodworm damage throughout, which does not appear active. The interior has been later adapted with shelves, and now the upper section has had its shelves removed and replaced with a modern hanging rail. The lower section is present with shelves, showing general wear. Three keys are present, and the locks are functional. Hinges are good, backboards appear replaced, joints are sound and solid, and overall, the piece appears in good usable condition with historic wear and restorations.

Cotswold School Buffet, circa 1930  Limed oak  97cm high, 122cm wide, 46cm deep  Condition Report: Overall general surface wear to include scratches, scuffs, marks. The top surface in particular with fading/discolouration, stains, marks and ring marks. The interior of the drawers and cupboard doors with discolouration. One handle to frieze drawer lacking one screw and is therefore loose.
