Also included is a Mortgage document dated 1891 concerning Henry Clifford in connection with the Theatre Royal in Scarborough with a Sales Brochure for the Theatre dated 1887, two transfer certificates for The Submarine Telegraph Company dated 1884 & 1885, and part of a letter written from SS Scotia describing an accident with the cable. This lot also includes a quantity of mixed ephemera (letters, legal documents etc) not relating directly to the Clifford family (Gibson, Gill, Collinson etc)

OLYMPIC GAMES 1920 Brochure published in Stockholm covering the 1920 Olympic Games in Antwerp, Large format publication issued by the Swedish Olympic Committee and covers all aspects of the Antwerp Games including Athletics, football, swimming, wrestling, cycling, show jumping, rowing, fencing, gymnastics, ice skating and ice hockey. Winter sports were also included as they did not hold separate games until 1924. Several tears to edges of the covers which are a little flimsy. Generally good
