It was purchased by the vendor in 2019 as an ongoing project, some internal improvements have been undertaken but it has had little use since and would benefit from a good service. 1991 Volvo 340 1.4 GL Auto Make: Volvo Model: 340 GL Year: 1991Mileage: 44756VIN: XLB345570MC812836Configuration: Right Hand DriveRegistration: H899UWXTransmission: automatic This example of Volvo's small family car range of the 1970s to early 1990s is an Oyster Grey Metallic 1397cc 340 GL with CVT automatic transmission. Registered in March 1991 - thus making it a late example, as production of the 300 series ceased in March 1991 - its odometer shows just 44,756 miles (which can be verified by the service history) and three former registered keepers are shown on the V5C. The car's MoT is valid until November 2022. The history folder includes the current V5C plus some past ones. Lot 348

1965 Rover P6 2000Make: Rover Model: P6 2000Year: 1965Mileage: 71879VIN: 40016907BConfiguration: Right Hand DriveRegistration: DTP280CTransmission: manualThis is an earlier Rover P6, having been registered June 1965, when the only engine option was the 2-litre unit, in this case with a manual gearbox. These earlier cars are known by some enthusiasts as 'Sharkstooths' due to their front valance design. The previous owner had the car for over 30 years and it was restored by him several years ago. The odometer currently shows 71,879 miles, with the car reported as being in good mechanical condition; the vendor tells us that the engine runs well and does not burn or leak oil, or overheat, with recent runs out in the car being 'free of any dramas, breakdowns or unexpected mechanical issues'. The P6 was driven 60 miles to the auction with no issues. The white bodywork is in very good condition and has an original red leather flatpleat interior, which is described as 'very good' - with the door seals, door cards, carpet and rubber mats all in fine order. Just before the vendor bought the car (earlier this year) the previous owner overhauled the rear brakes and fitted new pads - good news for any prospective owner, as these are inboard items, so trickier to work on than the more conventional front brakes. As an historic vehicle, the Rover is now MoT-exempt; its last certificate expired in January 2021 however. The online MoT history shows no serious issues back to 2006, which is when the online history ends. The vendor has only owned the car for a short while, and is now selling because his wife would prefer a more modern classic. The V5C shows four previous registered keepers, and there are copies of previous V5Cs, as well as MoT certificates back to 2001. There's also a handful of recent bills from 2022 for a Dunlop rear brake caliper seal kit, the brake pad set along with two owner's manuals, three workshop manuals and a period brochure. The mileage is recorded at 93,848. PLEASE SEE BELOW FOR VIDEO PRODUCED 1ST JUNE BY ACA OF THIS CAR.

The car was registered in May 2001 and has had just one previous registered keeper recorded from new. 39,560 miles are showing on the odometer and the MoT is valid until March 2023. The Rover seems to have been well-looked after, with even the original spare tyre and tools unused. The history folder includes the current V5C as well as a past one. There's some new car correspondence, including the original purchase invoice (for £11,513), and the original book pack with owner's handbook and supplements, plus radio instructions. There is no service book, however. A Rover 45 brochure and specifications booklet is also in the file, as are MoT certificates from 2004 and the current one from March 2022. A spare set of keys, with remote control fob, also comes with the car. PLEASE SEE BELOW FOR VIDEO PRODUCED 8TH JUNE BY ACA OF THIS CAR.

1992 Toyota Carina E GLIMake: ToyotaModel: Carina E GLIYear: 1992Mileage: 70850VIN: JT164STK100007757Configuration: Right Hand DriveRegistration: K345LTRTransmission: ManualToyota Carinas are far from common sights these days, so that this Atlantic Blue one has survived so well in such good order is a rarity. Registered in August 1992, this 1998cc example has had just one former registered keeper from new. The current MoT is valid until July 2022 and the odometer shows 70,850 miles from new, which can be warranted from the extensive history file. The vendor tells us that four new tyres, a cambelt, waterpump, auxiliary belts, battery and clutch are recent fitments. Some restoration work was also undertaken. This includes the current V5C and MoT certificate, plus the original book pack with RAC documentation, fuel economy information, security instructions, maps, European dealer guide and other miscellaneous new car paperwork. The owner's manual and service book are present, with the most recent service being in October 2020 at 66,280 miles. There are a number of previous V5s and V5Cs as well as tax discs right the way back to 1993 - there is a gap between 2012 and 2018 when it seems the vehicle was off the road. The bills and receipts date back to when the car was new, and includes the original purchase correspondence with Toyota. There's also a brochure and accessory guide, a copy of Autocar magazine from 1992 with a feature on the Toyota, and a full selection of past MoT certificates. It seems that pretty much everything relating to this Carina has been preserved by its long-term and careful owner. PLEASE SEE BELOW FOR VIDEO PRODUCED 9TH MAY BY ACA OF THIS CAR.

Registered in June 1975, the vendor tells us that the engine was rebuilt by SRM Engineering and fitted with Boyer electronic ignition. New tyres, battery, plugs, clutch, disc and pads are recent fitments, with a service having been carried out in October 2020. According to the vendor, few miles have been covered recently and the bike 'runs, starts and drives well'. The 750cc bike was registered in June 1975 and its odometer shows 18,520 miles. There is an MoT, despite the Triumph now being classed as an historic vehicle and thus not needing one, which is valid until June 2022. The history folder includes the V5C, an original brochure, various bills and receipts from 2022 back, including details of the 2007 SRM Engineering engine rebuild and other evidence of considerable care and expenditure over the years. The rest of the paperwork file includes a rather fragile and worn 1967 Jaguar range brochure, SC parts catalogue, some past V5Cs, a handful of invoices, and two notebooks from a past owner; one with photos of the car having work done during the early 1990s and the other recording in writing what was done during the same period.

New Art from Abroad à Osaka.
