Four Miles Mason creamers comprising; a low oval bone china example, circa 1805-08, decorated in orange, pink and gilt, marked 386, 7.5cm high; a deep oval example, hand-painted in various enamel colours and with gilding all over, marked 566, 12cm high, and two bat-printed creamers; the first a deep oval shape, printed with a horse and drover within landscape to one side, and a hilly church ruin scene to the other, marked 328, 12.5cm high, and a typical porcelain cream boat printed with a design of a shepherd and sheep in landscape to both sides, unmarked, 11cm high, each piece with characteristic handle (4) See Roberts, Gaye Blake, 'Mason's - The First Two Hundred Years' Merrell Holberton (London: 1996) p.41 for a coffee can in the same pattern as the second creamer listed here. A group of Water Birds, including a penguin, three geese, a kingfisher, a Muscovy duck and a pelican, beak chipped, 6 to 9.3cm (7) CONDITION REPORT: Small chip to tip of duck bill. Legs to pelican possibly reset. Small tip missing to tail feathers of red crested bird.
