Early-mid 19th Century ladies ebony table top writing/sewing cabinet inlaid with mother-of-pearl detailing, the lift-up top opening to reveal various fitted compartments, the body featuring two doors opening to reveal two slide-out drawers, one with jewellery compartments, and a writing slope pulling out from base with original inkwell. Top section also contains various original sewing instruments including Palais Royale style scissors and bone and mother-of-pearl thread reels, 22 pieces in total. Maker's label reads 'F.L Hausburg - Goldsmith & Jeweller - Old Post Office Buildings - Liverpool'. Domed top loose, some damage to inlay.
