A rare Robot 375 'Luftwaffe' Bomb Strike Recording Camera, serial no. 047008, based on a Robot II with enlarged film capacity of 375 exposures and larger external coupled spring motor drive; it is recorded that approx. 200 units were made during World War II which were mostly fitted as bomb-strike recording cameras to the tails of Junkers Ju87 'Stuka' dive bombers: many were lost in action and it is suggested that only about fourteen remain; this example is in good condition, the motor and shutter have recently been serviced by a Robot specialist, one 10m cassette is present; the original 4cm Biotar lens has been replaced with a 53mm F2.9 Ross Xpress lens (No 139106) on a helical mount with engravings on the mount tube
Luftwaffen Robot Camera Set, Body #F51842-6. (condition 3/4F) Fitted with chrome Biotar 4cm f2 CZJ lens #2440261, engraved to the rear "Luftwaffen-Eigentum" (condition 5/6F). Also a Black 7.5cm f3.5 Tele-Xenar slightly cloudy, with rare clip-on finder (repaired) and a black Krauss Tessar F4E lens (condition 6F) slightly cloudy. Also spare cassettes.
Original vintage airborne leaflet propaganda flyer issued by the Nazi Germany, entitled Caught Like Foxes in a Trap. Flyer aimed at English and American soldiers as a scare tactic, explaining the bleakness of their situation and information on a new German weapon 'robot planes' and other areas of German dominance. The reverse side has quotes from newspapers across europe reporting on the destruction being caused in England by Germany. Fair condition, tears, small paper losses, staining. Original vintage advertising poster advertising a Soviet circus. Sokol (real surname Sadokha ) Oleg Anatolyevich (30.04.1933 - 2001) - circus illusionist, continuer of the artistic dynasty Anatoly Grigoryevich Sokol , from 14 years old assistant, then artist in the attraction of his father "Miracles without miracles". In 1952 he entered the Leningrad Higher Marine Engineering College named after Admiral Makarov, became navigator of long voyages. In 1966, he returned to the circus, in 1967, received from the father leadership of the attraction. Illustration depicts a robot which was a trademark of his shows in front of a large pair of eyes.
