D112755, with Schneider Xenar f/2.8 37.5mm lens, chrome, serial no. 2151647, body, VG, shutter working, lens, VG, some very light internal haze and cleaning marks, together with Schneider Tele-Xenar f/4.5 150mm lens, chrome, serial no. 2894825, body, VG, elements, VG, some internal haze, with Robot instruction manual and Focal Press Robot Guide; with an Ottway & Co Ltd War Department specification plated brass hide-covered single-draw Naval Telescope, serial no. 4586, Patt. 373A, dated 1942 and an incomplete booklet, probably UK or NATO origin, showing silhouettes of Russian naval and merchant shipping, some marked with ticks or question marks, inscribed on cover ‘Stella Altair’, a Hull trawler built in 1963 and scrapped in 1981; the property of a retired Hull trawler captain - with related provenance concerning the vendor’s employment by British intelligence to undertake covert photography of Russian shipping in the Barents Sea in the 1960s and 1970s, using this Robot camera and the silhouette book, including copy of Daily Telegraph article from 1998 describing his work and his naval contact Commander John Brookes, copy of article about these activities ‘The Perfect Cover: British Intelligence, the Soviet Fleet and Distant Water Trawler Operations, 1963-1974’, Redfearn, M and Aldrich, R J, Intelligence and National Security, Vol. 12, No. 2, July 1997, pp. 166-177, and related copy-letters from the BBC and Imperial War Museum

F39818-4, with Carl Zeiss Jena Biotar f/2 40mm lens, serial no. 2441027, body, F, shutter working, with angle finder, lens F, some fungus; This example does not have ‘Luftwaffen-Eigentum‘ on the camera or lens, however the serial number prefix is an F for Flieger (Flyer)
A Robot II Luftwaffen-Eigentum camera body, no lens, serial F 54734-5, with long advance knob, an aluminium body, 10cm high overall. contained within brown leather case *The F serial comes from the German word 'Flieger' or 'Flyer'. The camera was used in several German fighter planes like the Messerschmitt BF 109 and 110 and the Focke Wulf 190. In the last one the camera was mounted in a cradle in the right wing and was connected with the guns. The camera could also be used hand-held by the crew.

Also a quantity of Britains plastic – farm/zoo animals, garden items including fences, flowers, pond, patio, trees, flowerbeds, gates, etc. QGC-GC some age wear.
1950's TIN PLATE ROBOT: A fantastic c1950's / 1960's clockwork tinplate ' Made In Hong Kong ' robot. Brightly litho printed tin, with plastic centre which ' sparks ' as the robot moves. Walking action, with fitted key. 16cm tall. Condition: Working condition, and general light wear and tear for its age. Sparking action is weak and intermittent, but this lot remains a charming relic of space age science fiction toys!
