Original vintage poster for the Ski Championships in St Moritz, Switzerland, from 2-10 February 1974. St. Moritz (also German: Sankt Moritz, Romansh: About this soundSan Murezzan (help·info), Italian: San Maurizio,[a] French: Saint-Moritz) is a high Alpine resort town in the Engadine in Switzerland, at an elevation of about 1,800 metres (5,910 ft) above sea level. It is Upper Engadine's major village and a municipality in the district of Maloja in the Swiss canton of Graubünden. St. Moritz lies on the southern slopes of the Albula Alps below the Piz Nair (3,056 m or 10,026 ft) overlooking the flat and wide glaciated valley of the Upper Engadine and eponymous lake: Lake St. Moritz. It hosted the Winter Olympics in 1928 and 1948 County: Switzerland, year of printing:1974, designer: Eugen Bachmann, size (cm): 101.5x63.5.
Model Railways - a good mixed lot of OO gauge to include three metal steam locomotive kits one painted and assembled with mortars, two unboxed locos, a Tri-ang EMU with one coach, two tenders and a Railstep Van ref 46204 and Brooklyn Tram ref 62932 both by Bachmann in HO scale, items appear f to nm, boxes g to e. Estimate £40 - £60
Model Railways - Bachmann OO gauge - two steam locomotives comprising 31-703 a B1 entitled Wildebeeste Op. No. 61010 in BR lined black and 32-225U a Class 3F locomotive limited edition No. 258 of 504 produced exclusively for Transport Models still wrapped in tissue, box and model appear to be in mint condition, B1 loco also appears mint in vg box (2). Estimate £40 - £60
A Quantity of 'OO' Gauge/4mm Track, by Hornby, Bachmann, Peco full and half straights, outer/inner curves, boxed points, turnouts by Peco - Ref. No's SL-E186 (2), Sl95 (2) and SL-E189, plus two Hornby Ref. R663 Point Remote Control and a Ref. R8243 Point Motor, condition, track loose, fair to good, Peco, Hornby point items, boxed, very good.
Two "OO" Gauge/4mm Diesel Locomotives, Hornby Ref R.316 Co-Co Class 47 "Lady Diana Spencer" BR blue, yellow cabs, R/No 47712, very good condition in fair box, plus a Bachmann Ref 31-341 Class 04,0-6-0 "Shunter", BR black R/No 11222, appears little used with unfitted accessories, excellent box.
Eight 'OO' Gauge/4mm Eight Wheel Coaches, by Hornby, Bachmann and Airfix, Bachmann Ref. No.'s 34-425, 34-606, 34-351, boxed, condition good, Hornby Ref. R4188 Dining Car and BR maroon Composite No. E15398, both very good boxed condition, plus three unboxed items, Bachmann MKI Brake/2nd BR Choc/Cream, in excellent condition, a Royal Mail Coach, plus Airfix Intercity, both fair to good, (8 items).
2 boxed 1980's Dapol Bachmann GMR model railway layout sets. Complete with GMR, Palitoy, instructions, one has unopened cardboard layout by Gilmore Kits for a station based on Charlbury. Both sets the same, containing: track, mains power controller, Bachmann C.P.R.R. Jupiter train and 3 cargo carriages.
