A Zsolnay vase circa 1900 decorated in 'Eosin' glazes with grasses against a striped ground flanked by a pair of un-glazed bird's skull handles impressed circular five churches mark impressed '6211 26' and '36' 20cm. Laszlo Mattyasovszky Zolnay (1885 - 1935) was the son of Jakab Mattyasovszky and Teraz Zsolnay. He trained with Sandor Apati Abt. He studied in Munich and lived and painted in Paris from 1912 - 1914. He played a major role in the founding of the Zsolnay museum. A vase of similar form but applied with four handles is illustrated: Eva Csenkey 'Zsolnay Art Nouveau Ceramics' Budapest 1992 plate 69.

Attributed to Zsolnay Pecs, an oil lamp, the baluster shaped porcelain body with raised and pierced roundels and with brass mounted rim and stand with scroll feet and decorated with gilt and white enamel to a mottled red ground, the amethyst glass reservoir complete with brass fittings and funnel and shade, overall height 26 1/2in ( 67.3cm)
