A large Zsolnay Pecs pottery vase, early 20th Century, the ovoid body painted with three cockerels and a chicken amongst pink/purple flowers and green foliage on a cream ground within blue strapwork and foliate borders, heightened in gilt, blue printed factory mark to base, height approx 46cm (neck damaged and repaired).
A Zsolnay Pecs dish, with pierced decoration, 3853, 37 cm wide Condition report Report by NG Crazed. Some rubbing to gilt decoration. The dish sounds as though it has a hairline crack, although currently it is not visible. Base stamped Made In Austria-Hundaria Zsolnay Pecs 3853/2 with printed gothic mark and painted 26 in gilt
Two Zsolnay chargers with scalloped lips, heavily pierced and gilded in Persian style, one has a large central reserve of irises on a dark blue ground, stamped 2999, the other three smaller floral reserves, stamped 3773. Condition Report: The first charger with three floral roundels has slight wear to the rim gilding and there is crazing to the glaze framing roundels. The back has considerable crazing and a very small crack to the foot rim. Diameter 35cm, pink "castle" stamp and impressed "Made in Austria-Hungary Zsolnay PECS No. 3778". The second charger has a single central floral roundel, the rim gilding is very rubbed and there is rubbing to high spots of the blue glaze centre. The back is crazed, there is an indistinct blue "castle" mark impressed Zsolnay 2999.
A Zsolnay Pecs bowl, with floral and pierced decoration, 20 cm wide, a Herend bowl, decorated flowers, 17 cm diameter, and another similar (a.f.) (3) Condition report Report by NG Zsolnay Pecs: Approx. 20 cm wide, 11.5 cm deep, and 10 cm high. Heavily crazed, several cracks, chips and pieces missing to pierced decoration, chips to foot ring, rubbing to gilt and metal decoration, grubby. The base impressed Zsolnay Pecs 1338 and 0, and stamped in blue Zsolnay Pecs architectural symbol, TeTeM 70, inscribed 61, and a dot in gilt. Herend Basket: Approx. 21 cm x 15.5 cm x 5.5 cm. Grubby, some light rubbing and scratches. The base numbered 7403/AOG Herend Jardiniere: Approx. 17 cm diameter and 14 cm high Used as a plant pot, very heavy water/scum marks to base of interior, grubby, light rubbing and scratches to decoration. The base inscribed 7213/AOG
