Registration No: F220 TOY Chassis No: 1G1FP31E7KL119286 MOT: June 2025Desirable IROC version of the second-generation Camaro Z28A resident of the United Kingdom since 1997305ci (5 litre) V8 engine with automatic transmissionCurrent ownership since 1999 and only three keepers in the UK Styled by Gerry Palmer, the third-generation Chevrolet Camaro began production on October 12th 1981. Named Motor Trend magazine’s ‘Car of the Year’ for 1982, the 2+2-seater was considerably lighter, better handling and more aerodynamic than its predecessor. Available in four-cylinder, V6 and V8 guises, the latter proved the most popular. Manufactured in 1989, this particular Camaro is understood to have been supplied new to mainland Europe, residing there for eight years before being imported to the UK. A desirable IROC-Z variant, its build specification featured an upgraded suspension, lowered ride height, specially valved Delco-Bilstein shocks, larger diameter sway bars, a steering/frame brace known as the "wonder bar", and a special decal package. Fitted with the 305ci (5 litre) V8 engine allied to automatic transmission, ‘F220 TOY’ is finished in Red with Red and Black leather upholstery, and has a manual soft-top. The present odometer reading of 168,000 kilometres (equivalent of c.104,000 miles) is believed but not warranted to be genuine. Entering the current (third UK) ownership twenty-five years ago, the Chevrolet has been sparingly used. Rare and characterful, this striking Camaro is offered for sale with invoices for work completed, a no advisory MOT certificate until June next year, and a current V5C document. Jamais présentées sur le marché depuis, elles sont toujours restées dans la famille du collectionneur jusqu'à ce jour.11 April 1957, a first 'pop-up exhibition' took place; it would lead to the founding of the ZERO Group. A radical artistic and spiritual movement committed to reinventing art from the ashes and rubble left by the war. The only authentic intellectual reconstruction the group could envisage had to reflect a concept: escaping the boundaries of the visible in order to reveal the infinite.Otto Piene and Heinz Mack, the theoreticians and founders of the group, toy with the perception of space, thus inviting the viewer to immerse themselves into their creations. Their new aesthetic paradigm is driven by light and its dynamics. 'Light is my brush and the sky my canvas', said Otto Piene.A year later, in 1958, the eponymous magazine was launched, confirming the two artists' strong commitment—joined in 1961 by Gunther Uecker—to the primacy of the mind over the hand. The Alfred Schmela Gallery in Düsseldorf—actually the group's haunt—was the venue for various exhibitions in which notably Yves Klein took part, in April 1958. He was, along with Fontana, a spiritual father, ZERO's major point of reference. These artists shared with the NUL Group, Gruppo Nucleare and Gutaï the desire to make the intangible tangible, because 'within every shadow lies a promise of light' (Heinz Mack). These two works presented here for sale, dating from the early 1960s, were both acquired from Galleria Cadario (Milan). Never shown on the market since, they have remained in the collector's family to this day. This lot is subject to the following lot symbols: ARAR Goods subject to Artists Resale Right Additional Premium. For further information on this lot please visit Bonhams.com

Midnight Purple, V-Spec, 26 years ownership and just 12,500 miles from new is a hard combination to beat! The R33 is now rightfully seeing the appreciation it deserves and what an undeniably incredible example this one is following its major service. The R33 was surrounded by huge hype following the popularity and cult status of the R32 and was unveiled at the 30th Tokyo Motor Show in August 1993, with the public having to wait until January 1995 for the GT-R to hit dealerships. This stunning 1995 R33 GT-R V-Spec is a remarkable example that's been preserved amazingly well and is one of 805 Series 1 V-Spec cars finished in the synonymous Skyline colour of LP2 Midnight Purple. It has covered just 12,500 miles from new, untouched by modifications even down to the seldom-seen original twin-pipe exhaust, with the car retaining all the original Japanese safety stickers and decals, preserved in remarkable condition. As a 1995 car, it spent its first three and a half years in Japan before being imported to the UK by the Toy Store Motor Company in 1999, who converted the speedometer to MPH, when our vendor purchased and registered the car in their name meaning it benefits from single UK-ownership. The reupholstered interior colour change was undertaken during its time in Japan and complements the car nicely. Changing from cloth to leather, the original seats, door cards and handbrake/shift boot were re-trimmed, so to put back to standard would be a remarkably easy task. The interior features lots of its original components such as the correct GT-R chequered flag mats. The car has been in long term, temperature-controlled storage and, as is frequently the case, the original book packs and Japanese history have been misplaced, so its history is limited to its UK V5C and invoicing for recent recommissioning work. The refresh has been undertaken by marque experts, Green End Garage, and included the timing belt, spark plugs and all fluids to give full confidence to a future custodian. Little used over here, it has covered just 30 miles between 2006-2024, and will come to auction with a fresh MOT offering peace of mind. The car appears absolutely on the button both mechanically and cosmetically. It's worth noting that there appears to be an erroneous input on the GT-R Registry where it states the car is white, however, as shown by the chassis number and chassis plate, it has always been LP2 Midnight Purple. The exterior, in totally original condition with gleaming paintwork, features the impossible-to-source 'V-Spec' decals and GT-R badges, factory-stamped forged 17" alloy wheels, Xenon headlights and adjustable rear spoiler. Accompanied by its original GT-R keys, this low mileage R33 GT-R V-Spec is just sensational to drive. Having spent so much time in a temperature controlled storage facility, under the ownership of its single enthusiast UK custodian, this car has been preserved exceptionally well, a testament to the previous owner and an asset to the next. Road &Track Magazine summarised the R33 GT-R very well in July, 2019 stating 'It isn't just better than you'd expect, it might well be the high-point of GT-R heritage'.The R33 GT-R has been criminally underrated for a long time, sometimes subdued by the racing pedigree and successes of the R32 GT-R, and the cult-like following and Hollywood stardom of the R34 GT-R but thankfully, the Japanese performance car market has woken up and there is an opportunity to be part of it with this original, well-cared for, low ownership and incredibly low-mileage R33. We welcome any inspection of this example; it will not disappoint.Specification Make: NISSAN Model: SKYLINE R33 GT-R Year: 1995 Chassis Number: BCNR33006649 Registration Number: N210 SGY Transmission: Manual Engine Number: RB26 Drive Side: Right-hand Drive Odometer Reading: 12535 KM Make: RHD Interior Colour: Purple/White LeatherClick here for more details and images
