A collection of 7 x vintage telescopes and spotting scopes. Models are: J.H Steward Featherweight Spotter, Hensoldt Wetzlar Dialyt 25 x 56, Kassnat Zoom 3 x 30 x 30, Bausch & Lomb ten power (boxed), unbranded brass 3 draw telescope, The Field x 25 Newbold & Bulford, Dolland London four draw brass telescope.
A circa 1920s officer of the watch telescope. A nickel plated on brass, single draw naval telescope. The telescope has a dust slide to protect the eye piece with a cap to the other end. The barrel is engraved Gieves Ltd. with the serial number 10203. This is an antique telescope, a single draw 'Officer of the Watch' telescope retailed by Royal Navy outfitters Gieves Ltd, London and dating to the early 20th century, also stamped A.V Anderson. An identical item with different serial number can be seen in the Royal Museums, Greenwich, London. Both eye piece and objective lens in good order, the central lens is loose, not allowing focus.

A pair of World War Two telescopes. Models are: M70F Perfex Corp 1943 C80903 - serial number: 89344 RJD, approx. 58cm long, steel body with a dark green paint finish, clear optics - these scopes were fitted in armoured vehicles, including the Sherman tank. Also a oak boxed brass Telescope Flash Spotting Mark II - No. 45 O.S 1129 G.A.

Models are: T Cooke & Sons - serial no. 44663 (broad arrow marked), Ross London Pattern 373 - serial no. 91999 (broad arrow marked), unbranded brass - objective ring marked No. 23B IOIN E.F, W Gregory - 51 Strand London - in poor condition - barrel dented. Together with a pair of believed to be 19th century long barrel binoculars, with 4 x leather cased eye piece telescope lenses and a cased Moller - Wedel Diopter telescope + 5 dpt.
A pair of World War Two WWII German Nazi D.F 10 x 80 flak artillery binoculars. Made by Leitz (beh). A German Anti-Aircraft Flak binoculars D.F. - Doppelfernrohr - (Double Telescope). These were used for direction sighting on the German Flak 36 (88 mm) gun. Tinted filter control on left is marked Klar-Clear, dunkel-dark, mittel-medium and hell-light. All original dark grey - deep blue paint finish - the typical color for Luftwaffe equipment. Also used on U boats and fortifications such as the Atlantic Wall. Maker marked beh for Leitz (Leica) and serial numbered 3816, making it a very early model number. During the 1940's three letter codes were used as the German Government tried to hide the names of the factories still in production. They issued every factory with a unique code which was engraved on the instrument instead of the makers name and location. Leitz ( Leica ) is beh, blc for Carl Zeiss Jena, DDX for Voigtlander, CAG for Swarovski, DKL for Schneider Leather lens covers in good condition and optics are clear and crisp. Also together with with lot is a DKL Schneider German Nazi D.F 10 x 80 flak artillery binoculars for use as spares and repairs only, lenes appear to be undamaged.
