Within the past year ‘R33 TTY’ has received new brake discs, new front and rear axles, new drive shaft and exhaust brackets and four new tyres and had the front coil springs correctly located. It received an ‘A Service’ from a Mercedes dealer in December 2023. King Arthur and Lady Guinevere (as played by Julia Ormond), his betrothed, sat on thrones in Camelot that Malagant (as played by Ben Cross) coveted.Custom-made for the production, this full-sized wood throne is hand-carved with ornate medieval patterning along its edges and egg-shaped finials on both stiles. It features blue crushed velvet cushioning with silver-color lame border detailing and a gold-color Camelot crest printed on the front and matching cushioning on the seat and reverse. The right side underarm features a Sony archival sticker numbered "20027418" and hand-marked "3KK" in black ink. CONTACT (1997) - Set of Seven Hand-Drawn and Printed Stephen P. Burg Machine Concept Design Boards - Seven boards featuring both hand-drawn and printed concept designs by conceptual artist Stephen P. Burg from the production of Robert Zemeckis' Contact. The International Machine Consortium (IMC) constructed a machine in Cape Canaveral to make contact with aliens.This set consists of six illustration boards applied with concept designs for several key scenes involving The Machine hand-rendered, labeled "Contact," signed by Burg, and dated "4/96" in mixed media, as well as a seventh board applied with printed Machine designs labeled "Sony Pictures Imageworks" in two places and affixed with hand-numbered sticky notes. SCANNER DARKLY, A (2006) - James Barris' (Robert Downey Jr.) Tape Recorder and Speaker - James Barris' (Robert Downey Jr.) tape recorder and speaker from Richard Linklater's A Scanner Darkly. Barris played back an audio recording he acquired between Donna Hawthorne (Winona Ryder) and Bob Arctor (Keanu Reeves) regarding their drug business for Hank. This tape recorder, though different from the one seen on screen, features the audio recording Barris played in the office. This lot consists of a gray plastic Olympus digital voice recorder with a metal side clip and is attached to a gray plastic and black metal Sony speaker system. These devices are functional when each is powered by two AAA batteries. This lot exhibits production distress to the speaker, as well as a missing battery cover on the recorder.
