THOMAS' as the numerals, with foliate engraved balance cock inscribed 'Webb and Son, Newbury' and numbered 12917, in a plain case, London 1845, two other silver pair case verge pocket watches, one by Wm. The rectangular dial with black Arabic numerals and subsidiary seconds dial, signed WILSON & SHARP LTD EDINBURGH, the movement stamped VERTEX..., case hallmarked for London 1927, initialled in script to reverse and numbered 291721, fitted to a brown leather strap (lacking buckle). Three: Private H. Worthington, Royal Highlanders 1914-15 Star (S-7902 Pte., R. Highrs.); British War and Victory Medals (S-7902 Pte., R. Highrs.) good very fine (3) £80-100 Henry Worthington was born in and enlisted at St. Helens, Lancashire. Serving with the 2nd Battalion Royal Highlanders (Black Watch), he was killed in action in the Persian Gulf on 21 January 1916. His name is commemorated on the Basra Memorial.
