Scuba Pro 500 Automatic Gentleman's Wristwatch. A unique opportunity to acquire a hidden gem in the collectible array of yesteryear's tool watches, this piece is entirely unmolested. Belonging to the same owner since the date of purchase in the mid 1970's, this particular ScubaPro has been exposed to sports diving from the Caribbean Sea to the Mediterranean, not to mention repairing boats in situe. The tritium index dial is completely original, the ETA Automatic movement shows no signs of moisture having entered the case. This particular watch naturally shows signs of use; a patina that can only be developed over many years of service, the period nylon 'NATO' strap has faded and softened beautifully, presumably as a result of exposure to saltwater and sunlight.
