Barbour quilted jacket with fleece lining - Size Large, bears label titled "Berwick Endurance Quilt", overall with a little dust and dirt, some of the border and quilting stitching coming undone, but overall appears in good condition. Highland Stag gilet - Size Medium, overall with a little dust and dirt, but generally appears in good condition.
Autograph - Entertainment theatre Dame Ellen Terry charming series of five autograph letters signed either under her stage name or her married name of E A Wardell^ to a Mrs Thorpe who^ from the context of the letters was probably one of her servants. The letters a written in a friendly tone discussing Mrs Thorpe and her children^ her health etc. One of the letters mentions a quilt which Mrs Thorpes children had made for her^ and the lot includes a quilt which could be the one referred to in the letter. Also included is an Edwardian style silk dress which may have been worn by Ellen Terry and a Roman style over garment.
