Lot 1081

An antique hand stitched hexagonal honeycomb pattern patchwork quilt. +/- 260 cm x 210 cm (see illustration). CONDITION REPORT: This lot is not backed. Other than being dirty and discoloured in places the cover is really in fairly good order. There are some minor frayed edges to the edge octagons and numerous sections of protruding threads around the extremities. There do not appear to be any perforations or any moth damage and there are no tears. Each hexagon is approximately 2.8 cm in diameter.

Approximately twenty panels are damaged. Most panels are 9cm x 7.5cm, yet there is some panels that are larger, varying in sizes.
