French M1874 Gras bayonet.  17 1/2 inch, shortened T section blade.  Back edge with maker's details. Steel hook quilt.  Brass pommel.  Wooden slab grips ... Russian AKM bayonet.  Bowie style blade.  Blackened steel crossguard and pommel.  Brown composite grips.  Contained in its brown composite, ribbed scabbard with lower wire cutting mount.  3 items.

CHARLES EDWARD WILSON (1845-1941); watercolour, 'The Uninvited Guest', signed lower right, 52 x 35cm, this watercolour bears as a striking resemblance to the patchwork quilt which was sold through Christies, June 5th 2007 for a sum of £9000, complete with original gilt frame and glazed.Additional InformationThe piece has been placed in a modern frame although we do have the original gilt frame which has losses and areas of wear/mould to the internal mount. The main image is good with strong colours.
