Ø51mm, ca. 97g, sehr massives Silbergehäuse, Gehäuse und Werk nummerngleich 57137, Staubdeckel mit Doppelsignatur Patek Philippe und Pleister London, extrem seltenes Kaliber mit speziellem Kronenaufzug/Gesperr nach Courvoisier, Moustache-Anker, einwandfrei erhaltenes Emaillezifferblatt, funktionstüchtig und in sehr gutem Zustand, mit Verkaufsbox. Der Stammbuchauszug bestätigt die Originalität und das Herstellungsjahr 1884. Anhängeuhr/Broschenuhr: Rarität, "Boule de Genève" in äußerst seltener Qualität, Gold/Platin/Emaille mit Diamantbesatz und in kleinster uns bekannter Größe, ca. 1890: Ca. Ø16mm, 18K Gold und Platin, No.4945, blaue Guilloche-Emaille, ringsum besetzt mit Diamanten, Aufzug und Zeigerstellung durch Drehen der oberen Gehäusehälfte, feines Miniaturwerk mit Ankergang, hervorragend erhaltenes Emaillezifferblatt mit blauen Ziffern und roter "12", Goldzeiger, dazugehörige Broschierung aus Gold, besetzt mit Saphiren, funktionstüchtig und in nahezu perfektem Erhaltungszustand, lediglich das Glas fehlt. Diese hochfeinen Uhren wurden erstmals um 1865 und bis 1920 überwiegend von Genfer Herstellern gefertigt, die bekanntesten von Patek Philippe. Die enorme Publicity für diese reizenden "Boules de Genève" führte zu einem Sturm von Bestellungen von Königshäusern aus aller Welt. Patek Philippe lieferte u.a. Exemplare an Prinz Hussein Kamil von Ägypten (1887) und an Kaiserin Teresa von Brasilien (1888); beide Stücke sind im Katalog der Ausstellung "Timepieces of Royalty" abgebildet, die im Herbst 2005 im Patek Philippe Museum stattfand. Heute besitzt die ständige Ausstellung des Museums eine kleine Anzahl von späteren Boules de Genève-Modellen in verschiedenen Ausführungen.

Taschenuhr/Anhängeuhr: extrem rare Patek Philippe Ref. 799 mit Doppelsignatur, 60er-Jahre: Ca. 35 × 35mm, ca. 36g, 18K Gold, extrem seltene quadratische Gehäuseform, Druckboden mit Besitzergravur, Gehäusenummer 2527489, Werksnummer 1148140, Handaufzug Kaliber 23-300, hervorragend erhaltenes originales Sektor-Zifferblatt mit sehr seltener Doppelsignatur Patek Philippe und Beyer, goldene Zeiger, originale sehr seltene Frackuhrenkette in gleichem Design wie das Gehäuse, ausgezeichneter Erhaltungszustand, funktionstüchtig. Die Referenz 799 aus den sechziger Jahren ist extrem selten und eine gesuchte Sammleruhr. Nur wenige Exemplare sind bekannt. In diesem Originalzustand mit Originalkette und der Doppelsignatur ist es eine hoch interessante Sammleruhr!
Taschenuhr: bedeutende hochkomplizierte astronomische Savonnette, Chronometer mit Minutenrepetition, ewigem Kalender und retrograder Datumsanzeige, Laurent Gostkowski à Genève, ehemals beschäftigt bei Patek Philippe, Nr. 2450, circa 1877: Ca. Ø58mm, ca. 175g, 18K Gold, à-goutte, guillochiert, Sprungdeckel mit emailliertem Monogramm EG, Staubdeckel sehr aufwendig graviert, komplett signiert und nummeriert mit der Jahreszahl 1877, bez. "CHRONOMETRE", Auflistung der Komplikationen mit ewigem Kalender, Minutenrepetition und Mondphase, hochfeines Ankerchronometerwerk mit Wolfsverzahnung und goldenen Laufrädern, Gehäuse und Werk nummerngleich 2450, unter dem Zifferblatt zusätzlich gepunzt 1/44, prächtiges Champlevé-Zifferblatt mit floralen Verzierungen, ewiger Kalender, Mondphase und äußerst seltenes retrogrades Datum, rotgoldene Zeiger, optisch in sehr sehr schönem Erhaltungszustand mit vermutlich originaler Box, technischer Zustand überholungsbedürftig, Werk gangbar, Repetition funktionstüchtig, Justierung empfohlen, Kalenderwerk restaurierungsbedürftig, Wochentag schaltet, Mondphase ebenso, retrogrades Datum und Monat funktionieren nicht mehr. Dies ist nach unserem Kenntnisstand erst die 2. dieser hochkomplizierten Uhren von Laurent Gostkowski, die auf einer Auktion angeboten wird. Laurent Gostkowski wurde um 1850 in Nice, Frankreich, geboren. Er war der Sohn von Patek Philippes Partner Wincenty Gostkowski und Marie-Antoinette de Rabaudy. Vater Wincenty (Vincent) Gostkowski (29. März 1807–29. August 1884) wurde in Grzymki, Polen, geboren und emigrierte in den 1830er-Jahren nach Genf. Er war Jurist und ein früher Geldgeber und Mitinhaber der Firma Patek & Cie., vorher bekannt als Patek, Czapek & Cie. Am 15. Mai 1845 wird die Firma nach Eintritt von Jean-Adrien Philippe und Vincent Gostkowski in Patek & Cie. umbenannt. Am 30. Juni 1847, im Alter von 40 Jahren, heiratete er die Französin Marie-Antoinette de Rabaudy von Brest, zwanzig Jahre jünger als er. Für diese Ehe waren Antoine Norbert de Patek und Jean Adrien Philippe zwei der drei Trauzeugen. Am 1. Januar 1851 wird der Name von Patek & Cie. in Patek Philippe & Co. geändert. Am 21. Januar 1876 zog Vincent Gostkowski sich zurück aus der Firma Patek Philippe und gründete mit seinem Sohn Laurent das Familienunternehmen Laurent Gostkowski in Genf und später in Paris. Unter ihren Zulieferanten war auch ein weiterer ehemaliger Mitarbeiter von Patek, Czapek & Cie, Henri Majewski aus Lwów in Polen. Die Firma gewann eine Silbermedaille für Uhrmacherei auf der Pariser Weltausstellung von 1878. Kurz danach eröffnete Gostkowski ein neues 'Atelier' in der Nähe des Quai des Bergues in Genf. Einer der Mitarbeiter von Gostkowski war Emmanuel Cottier (1858-1930) Vater von Louis Cottier (1894-1966), ein Genie, welcher neben anderen technischen Neuerungen auch den Patek Philippe Weltzeit-Mechanismus im Jahre 1931 erfand (Quelle:https://www.cortrie.de/go/OA9). Es sind bisher nur einige wenige Uhren von Gostkowski und Majewski, den ehemaligen Mitarbeitern/Teilhabern von Patek Philippe, bekannt. Alle jedoch stehen für allerhöchste Genfer Qualität und mit unverkennbarer Ähnlichkeit zu den frühen hochkomplizierten Patek Philippe Uhren der 1870er/1880er-Jahre. The dial has two hairline cracks at 11.30 and 3 o'clock. Some wear to engine turning to outer edges of case back. Tiny ding to gold to case front at 2 o'clock. Otherwise good with expected scratches and wear.

The brass desk clock case is probably scratchbuilt and homemade to a reasonable standard. The stand is detached. One screw missing from the back cover.

PATEK PHILIPPE; an exceptionally rare gentleman's stainless steel anti-magnetic wristwatch, 1958-1960, the dial set with applied baton and Arabic numerals, subsidiary seconds dial, and inscribed 'Patek Philippe Geneve Amagnetic', case number 2605777, movement mechanical, calibre .12-400, movement numbered 728878, diameter approx. 35mm. Presented with Patek Philippe certificate detailing the reference and movement number. FOOTNOTE: The reference 3417 was first launched in 1958 and ceased around 1968. It was the first 'anti-magnetic' wristwatch made in series, available exclusively in stainless steel. At the time of launch, the 'Amagnetic' feature was a sign of superiority and consequently mentioned on the dial. With the standardisation of improved shock proof and anti-magnetic balances in the early 1960s, the later watches do not have the inscription on the dial.With this watch having a 12-400 calibre movement we can date it to pre-1960 before the calibre changed to 27-AM400.Provenance: Private collection North West, purchased by a family member when new between 1958-1960.Condition Report: Watch is currently running, though we cannot guarantee that it is in full working order. Blemish to the dial between the baton for 11 and the number 12. Case with light wear to surface throughout, the black blemish under the L in Philippe is on the dial, Overall good.

Dial pin missing, with some minor grizzling and chipping around the hole at 12 o'clock.Movement - In working order, but not tested for timekeeping or endurance. Crown engages and disengages positively, and the hands move freely in both directions.Case - Some surface scratches, as to be expected and commensurate with age and wear. One or two minor bruises to the case, particularly to the front above and to the left of the cartouche. Hinges do not appear strained.

As the wristwatch became established in the 20th century, Gay Frères successfully transitioned to focussing on the production of wristwatch bracelets, and from the 1940s onwards supplied bracelets to many of Switzerland’s most highly regarded watch brands, including Rolex, Patek Philippe, Vacheron Constantin, Audemars Piguet, Zenith and Heuer. In fact, Gay Frères are responsible for a number of iconic watch bracelets, having designed, in collaboration with the respective watch houses, Rolex’s Oyster bracelet, Audemar Piguet’s Royal Oak bracelet, and Patek Philippe’s Nautilus bracelet.Alongside its watch bracelets, the company has always produced jewellery, and has supplied to houses such as Van Cleef & Arpels, FRED, and Hermès, as well as selling under it's own name.
