Ø53,5mm, ca. 133g, 18K Roségold, Gehäuse rückseitig mit Emailleeinlage, Darstellung von Mond und Stern als Symbol für eine astronomische Taschenuhr, blaue Guilloche-Emaille, Gehäuse signiert Patek Philippe & Co. Geneve No. 409600, Werksverglasung, Fassung der Werksverglasung mit Gehäusenummer 409600 und Werksnummer 197737, hochkompliziertes Patek Philippe Werk mit 7 Komplikationen, ewiger Kalender, Mondphase, Mondalter und Minutenrepetition, Genfer Streifen, Feinregulierung, 31 Steine, justiert in 8 Lagen, Aufzugsräder mit Wolfsverzahnung, signiert Patek Philippe No. 197737, originales, nummerngleiches Emaillezifferblatt(professionell restauriert), funktionstüchtig und sehr gut erhalten, lediglich in der Mondphasen-Anzeige kaum sichtbar kurze Haarrisse. Die Uhr befindet sich in ihrer Originalbox und wird mit aktuellem Patek Philippe Stammbuchauszug geliefert. Es handelt sich hier um eine extrem seltene Patek Philippe mit einem äußerst ungewöhnlichen Gold/Emaille Gehäuse, möglicherweise ein Unikat. Die Uhr befand sich Jahrzehnte in den USA. Dort wurde von Tiffany ein weiteres, schlichtes Goldgehäuse angefertigt. Das ist im Stammbuchauszug von 1992 vermerkt (Kopie liegt vor). Der Grund war vermutlich eine nicht passende Geschenkwidmung, die sich im Originalgehäuse befand. Zum Glück wurde das Originalgehäuse nicht vernichtet. Der Vorbesitzer hat 2005 einen weiteren Stammbuchauszug für die Variante im Originalgehäuse angefordert. Auch dieser liegt in Kopie vor. Nach dem Besitzerwechsel befindet sich das Werk nur noch im Originalgehäuse. Die Gravur am Rande des Innendeckels wurde auspoliert. Zur Uhr wurde 2023 ein dritter, nun aktueller Stammbuchauszug angefordert, der die Originalität und das besondere Emaillegehäuse bestätigt! Derartige Gehäusedekorationen waren in der Regel auf Kundenwusch und wurden von Patek Philippe bei ansässigen Graveuren und Emailleuren in Auftrag gegeben und fanden nicht im eigenen Hause statt. Tischuhr: dekorative Boulle Pendule, 19.Jh., bedeutender deutscher Uhrmacher, Paul Thimig Dresden: Ca. 33 × 17 × 11 cm, Messing/ Holz, Gehäuse im Barock-Stil, sog. Boulle-Technik, rundes Vollplatinenwerk mit Sonnenpendel, Platine signiert B & G 1884, Halbstunden- Schlag auf Glocke, signiertes Kartuschen-Zifferblatt, gebläute Eisenzeiger, gangbar, Schlagwerk reinigungsbedürftig. Glas mit Riß. Paul (Theodor) Thimig war als Uhrmacher in Dresden tätig und wurde um 1850 geboren. Er war mit seinem Geschäft zuerst in der Schlossstraße 6 tätig. Vermutlich in der Nähe oder im Elternhaus. Bereits in der Schlossstraße bewarb er sich als Hauptvertreter der Firma Lange & Söhne. Weniger als 20 Meter weiter hatte Robert Pleißner sein Geschäft an der Ecke Schlossstraße und Rosmaringasse. Er gründete sein Unternehmen um 1870 und arbeitete bis um 1915. Später war er mit seinem Geschäft in der Prager Straße 6 ansässig. Er wurde zum Königlich Sächsischen Hoflieferant von Ihrer Majestät der Königin (Witwe) benannt. Thimig vertrat auch die Firma Patek Philippe in Dresden.

Pierre Gaudron gilt als ein herausragender Uhrmacher, er war der Sohn von Antoine Gaudron (1) und Bruder von Antoine Gaudron (2) . Er war zwischen 1690 und 1730 in Paris tätig und fertigte Uhren im Auftrag der Regierung. Gaudron war Hofuhrmacher des Duc d'Orleans und des Königs von Frankreich. Ø18mm, ca. 15,5g, 18K Gold, gesamtes Gehäuse verziert in besonderer Granulationstechnik, Mittelteil mit Diamantrosen besetzt, Patentgehäuse mit Aufzug und Zeigerstellung durch Verdrehen der Gehäusehälften, hochfeines Miniatur-Ankerwerk mit Moustacheanker, baugleich mit den bekannten signierten Patek Philippe Kugeluhr-Werken (vgl. Huber & Banbery Seite 75), Platine beidseitig nummeriert 18474, Gehäuse 14474, typisches Emaillezifferblatt mit roter 12, Spitze des späteren Stunden-Zeigers fehlt, insgesamt sehr schön erhalten, Werk reinigungsbedürftig, 2 der kleinen Gehäuseschrauben fehlen. Die Uhr ist eine Rarität und möglicherweise eine unsignierte frühe Patek Philippe. Die in Huber & Banbery Seite 75 abgebildete Uhr ist baugleich, trägt ebenfalls eine niedrige 5-stellige Nummer, nämlich 16010 und ist zusätzlich mit Patek Philippe und der Nummer 157415 punziert. Eine Kugeluhr mit bis ins Detail nahezu identischem Gehäuse, signiert Patek Philippe, wurde 2016 bei Dr. Crott in der 94. Auktion als Los 381 angeboten (https://www.cortrie.de/go/NK8).

Die hier vorliegende Werkskonstruktion wurde in sehr geringer Anzahl in den Jahren 1867 und 1868 als Versuchsserie gebaut. Alle uns bekannten Uhren haben 27.000er Nummern.
