Purvor before his performance at the Astoria in London in 1967. This lot is part of the Rockarchive Collection.This giclee print is from a limited edition of 30 and shows Hendrix looking at the sheet music for "Blonde on Blonde" by Bob Dylan which belonged to Purvor. Hendrix asked if he could borrow the sheet music and became engrossed affirming his appreciation for Dylan's music. This photo was taken before Hendrix recorded his famous cover of Dylan's song "All Along The Watchtower". The original negative was heavily water damaged but was digitally restored by the Rockarchive team in 2014. Die frühesten Ausgaben sind besonders sauber und wurden alle flach gelagert.

The piece of paper is also signed by Mitch Mitchell (1946-2008) drums, Noel Redding (1945-2003) bass, and road manager Neville Chesters (1945-2023). Hendrix has signed 'Best of success Jimi Hendrix'. In addition the book itself is signed on the front free endpaper by Mitch Mitchell and Billy Cox.Condition:The signatures are all in blue ballpoint pen except Billy Cox's autograph which is in black ballpoint. We believe all the signatures to be genuine. They have been matched with known examples and appear to be correct. However, there is no extended provenance with this lot and the autographs can not be unconditionally guaranteed.
