A Contemporary Parcel-Gilt Silver Seven-Piece Tea Service, by Ian Calvert (1938-, Freeman) London 1973, comprising teapot, hot water pot, milk jug, sugar bowl, strainer, tongs and tray, each with ovoid bodies and pierced silver-gilt neck band, the circular tray with silver-gilt pierced border, maker`s mark IC, London 1973, approx 150oz, teapot 16cm, hot water pot 19cm, milk jug 11cm, sugar bowl 9cm, strainer 14cm long, tongs 12.5cm, tray 49cm diameter Calvert became a Freeman of the Company in 1959, working for Wakely & Wheeler before setting up the Silver Workshops Ltd. He was taught at the Medway College and has been associated with Asprey and Garrard through Alex Styles and Tony Bedford.
An Order of the Bath C.B., military issue, silver gilt and enamels, with the original Garrard & Co case of issue (the central triple crown motif detached but present), a Japanese Order of the Sacred Treasure, with the original lacquered box, fitted to a purple cord with a tassel terminal, a rectangular bronze medallion commemorating the Inter-parliamentary Conference Berlin 1908, with the portrait of Kaiser Wilhem II, cased, a Swiss badge, a MID oak leaf spray and a brass spade guinea counter.
A pair of William IV silver circular wine coasters by Robert Garrard II, London 1832, the sides pierced with anthemion and scrolls between moulded borders, the silver interiors engraved with a crest, the bases wood inset, 14.5cm (5 3/4in) diameter, loaded. The crest of CARY-ELWES and of PONSONBY-FANE.

A modern silver wine goblet, by Garrard & Co., London 1973, to commemorate the Silver Wedding Anniversary of H M Queen Elizabeth II and The Duke of Edinburgh, inscribed to the bowl, which is raised on a knopped baluster stem from a circular foot cast with a band of fruiting vine, 15.25cm high, approximate weight 6oz, with certificate.
An important, twin handled silver gilt cup and cover by Garrard, in the manner of Paul De Lamerie, inscribed Waterloo Cup 1930 won by "Church Street", the other side engraved with the coat of arms of Hugh Molyneux, 7th Earl of Sefton, the lid is cast and chased with an acanthus and ram`s head finial, the handles, acanthus capped and the body with Bacchanalian masks and swags.
