The back plate does not appear to be stainless steel, being yellow in colour, however without the specific tool to open the watch, it is not possible to see inside the case, thus it is impossible to discern whether it is gold or not.Some scratches to glass and to back where people have tried to prise the case open. Hands wind and date changes fine. Winding appears to be slightly stiff, but runs fine.
