A VICTORIAN CADDY SPOON with a fluted, fan-shaped bowl and a grotesque figure terminal, by Hilliard and Thomason, Birmingham 1855, a late Victorian caddy spoon with roses, thistles and shamrock up the stem, a pair of late 20th century caddy spoons, a millennium caddy spoon with a circular bowl, maker's mark "AB", London 2000, another with a fluted bowl and commemorative marks for Birmingham 1973* and three other Victorian caddy spoons; the largest one 4" (10 cms) long; 4.75 oz (9) *To commemorate the Bi-centenary of the Birmingham Assay Office.
ADMIRAL LORD RODNEY:- A rare fan with bone guards carved and pierced and pierced bone sticks, paper leaves printed in sepia with a portrait of the admiral standing on the French and Spanish flags flanked by allegorical figures of Britannia and Neptune with sea creatures, 18th century; 28 cms George Brydges Rodney(1718-1792) had a distinguished naval career, becoming a rear admiral by 1759. For a different example c.f. p. 114 of the Fan Museum Greenwich exhibition "Fans:War and Peace" 2009-2010. Also Schreiber no: 18, unmounted fan leaves, portraits.

The ephemera is catalogued as follows: fifty three Elvis Monthly magazines from 1963 onwards, Elvis The Ultimate Album Cover, Photoplay magazine November 1961 with Elvis on the cover, June 1968 screen stories with Elvis on the cover, 1962 with Elvis on the cover, February 1962 Elvis feature and April 1963 Elvis feature, various colour and black and white postcards, promotional photos and fan club material; small RCA poster for 'If I can dream' 45 rpm record, and various other Elvis ephemera, together with DeAgostini Elvis magazines nr 1-90, the majority unopened. Note: none of these records have been tested for playability, on physical inspection the records are in our opinion very good +.
Two Chinese blue and white prunus blossom decorated ginger jars, two small jars similar, Japanese Imari scallop-edged plate, similar coffee can and saucer, Imari vase, small blue and white bowl, two Oriental pattern shallow dishes by Hilditch & Son circa 1822-30, a brass Taoist-style bell, a brass censer, fan etc CONDITION REPORTS The smaller ginger jar with lid is broken and repaired. One blue and white Chinese plate has a large hairline crack running through it the other has all over discolouration. Eggshell coffee cup has hairline cracks. Fan has damage in several places. Bell is missing clanger. All items have general wear and tear to include surface scratches, etc. and are in need of a clear. See images for more details.
A 19th Century black lacquered and gilt decorated Chinese Qing Dynasty polychrome painted fan decorated with multiple figures in court setting (faces superimposed on ivory, some flags and cloth elements of the picture superimposed on silk and clothing) CONDITION REPORTS Some light surface scratches to the sticks and guards. The leaf has wear and areas of loss to the paint at the creases. Wear to the edge of the fan and some small areas of loss to the banding at the edge. Some minor splits to the edge of the leaf as well. Some fraying and discoluration to the silk used for the clothes on the figures. General wear and tear commensurate with age and use. See photos for more details.There are some tears to the paper throughout, three faces, one on one side and two on the other appear to be replacements or at least had some work done. Otherwise wear and tear conducive with age and use. See images for further details.
