A pair of Victorian onyx, split pearl and diamond drop earrings, each with an oval onyx bead set with a split pearl at the centre, an elongated oval onyx bead drop articulated below, set with a bifurcated row of split pearls and rose cut diamonds. Later hook fittings CONDITION REPORT: Pearls a good colour. Some tarnish to the gold. 12.2g approximately. 62mm long including the wires. 12.1mm wide at widest point. Pearls of good lustre, none to be replaced. Repair to one cap to the top of the smallest oval onyx bead. See website image (www.sworder.co.uk). Left hand earring below the wire.

A pair of cased Edwardian natural pearl and diamond drop earrings, each pear-shaped, semi-baroque, natural pearl, peg set to a cap, grain set with graduated cushion cut and rose cut diamonds, suspended below four graduated old European cut diamonds. Each diamond milligrain set to articulated collets with hook fittings. Accompanied by a report from the Gem and Pearl Laboratory dated 17/01/2014, no. 09257, stating that both pearls are natural saltwater. Dimensions: 8.2-10.8mm in width (length 13-15mm) 7.8-11.00mm in width (length 13-15mm) Total length of the earrings 45mm (approximately) CONDITION REPORT: Total length of each earring 44mm including the hook wires. Require a light clean. Pearls - light to medium cream; good lustre; surface skins slighly rippled and grainy under 10x magnification. Diamonds - VS2/SI1 range; colour H/I range.

A pair of cased black opal and diamond drop earrings, early 20th century, each earring composed of a hook fitting, with an old European cut diamond, milligrain set to the front. A trace chain drop to an oval cabochon black opal, surrounded by old eight cut diamonds, all milligrain set in white to a yellow gallery. Case by Page, Kean and Page, Plymouth CONDITION REPORT: 23mm long, from the top of the wire. Requires cleaning. No obvious damage/repair. Both opals bright with a good polish. Settings appear secure.

It would be possible to convert the earrings to another type of fitting.

A pair of Art Deco diamond and sapphire daisy cluster earrings, each earring composed of an old European cut diamond, claw set to the centre, surrounded by six circular mixed cut sapphires, all milligrain set, with rose cut diamond set points, later screw fitting, two possible synthetic replacements CONDITION REPORT: Under 10x magnification one sapphire appears to be damaged, but actually has surface reaching fissures. Two possibly synthetic sapphire replacements. Some stones have dropped in the settings. Requires careful cleaning. Each earring approximately 11mm diameter.
