Attractive signed and inscribed paperback printed 7 x 9 brochure, 48 pages, featuring 38 images of Tapies´ works. The brochure was issued for Tapies´ exhibition in New York, at the Marsha Jackson gallery in November 1968, entitled “Paintings, Collages, and Works on Paper 1966-1968”, and was printed in Paris by Arte in 1968. Boldly signed in pencil to the inside page of the brochure unusual cover `De tot cor - Tapies - Nov.1968´, the inscription being in Catalan (“From deep in my heart”). An exceptional Amri-Nal bowl from the Indus Valley, ca. 3200 - 2600 BC. This fine example is 3.25 in. in diameter, stands on the characteristic ring base and is decorated with a pair of large fish, set off with simple linear d?cor. Khaki cloth material tailored with a fold down neck flap, this with the unusual feature of been fur lined. Complete with Officer’s bronze cap badge, material strap and correct thin brown leather chinstrap. The interior with leather sweatband. The appearance of the cap remains good, but please note moth damage to the rear neck flap.
