Imperial Japanese Army 2nd Lieutenants Full Dress Uniform, consisting of M1894 pattern officers frock coat with plastron front and double row of gilt metal buttons. Stand up collar in red cloth with bullion edging. Red cuffs with Austrian lace decoration and three gilt metal buttons. Finely embroidered quilted lining with Tokyo tailors label. Complete with the matching full dress trousers with red stripe to the leg. Original officers full dress peaked cap with gilt metal cap insignia incorporating the plume holder. White and red feathered two piece plume. Red and white cloth waist sash with embroidered tassels and 2nd lieutenants officers dress pattern shoulder boards still housed in the original metal storage tin. The trousers have some moth issues but otherwise the set is in very good overall condition.
