After graduating he worked for Holmegaard producing distinctive stoneware. In his own studio he worked with Karl Halier, items created often had organic forms and typical colours of blue green and grey, understated works with crystalline glazes, his wish was to produce pottery that was beautiful but affordable and during the 1930`s thousands of hand crafted items were produced. Today Arne Bang ceramics are collected not only in his native Denmark but throughout mainland Europe, America and parts of Asia, his work appears in a number of museum collections.
