Two Beswick horses and a foal; the larger horse 18cm long (3) CONDITION REPORT: The smaller pony with two front white socks is black. The smaller foal is not Beswick and is marked to the underside “Tosca Foreign”. The ears and mane has been restored and feel rough and inappropriate for the piece. The larger black horse with the front white socks appears to be in good general overall original condition with no major problems or restoration noted. The larger white and brown horse also appears to be in generally good original condition overall with glaze crazing to the large horse and black pony. The ears and mane are restored on the small non-Beswick example. The black pony appears to be in good general order although there is a firing blemish to the glaze noted to the front right hand leg. This is not conventional damage but a firing fault on the glaze.
