A Beswick figure of a Bedouin Arab warrior on horseback, No'd. 2275 to base, 26.5 cm long, raised on an oak plinth stand CONDITION REPORTS Metal sword is quite bent and mis-shapen, figure generally has wear, dirt and dust, oval wooden base appears to be slightly bigger than the base of the figure so may be associated, under UV light the figure appears quite blotchy although this could be due to the amount of surface dirt, the tail appears to have been broken off and there is restoration to the tail where it meets the body of the horse, one of the ears has quite a shiny patch and a line which shows up under UV light so this has possibly also been re-glued and repaired, there is over-painting to the tail and it is not possible to see the extent of the filler/repair beneath.
