A mahogany cased barograph by Short & Mason Ltd, London the silvered dial marked RD No.428606, with bevelled glass, eight tier vacuum, gilt brass fittings and single recording arm, cylinder stamped 'Pat. 3715.02', with a single drawer, with original 'Self-Recording Barometer' instruction leaflet, 14¼ x 8½in. (36.2 x 21.5cm.), 8½in. (21.5cm.) high. *Condition: Winds and runs. Some crazing/dulling to polish to case and wear to colour on corners. Spotting to brass and dark stained patch to brass below back of vacuum. Two large patches of deterioration to lacquer to top of cylinder.
