Ault (Norman, 1880-1950). Forty original pen and ink illustrations, [prob. for 'England's Story for Children', by M.B. Williams], 1908, mostly signed and dated '08, all captioned in pencil, some soiling and dampstains, sheet size approx. 40 x 32 cm. A prolific illustrator, Norman Ault worked for The Strand, Chatterbox, Sunday and other magazines and childrens annuals. He also collaborated with his artist wife on children's books. (40)
