After Christopher Dresser's design for Linthorpe, a Bretby Art Pottery jardiniere, designed circa 1885, in the Aesthetic style, turquoise glaze, bulbous form with fan horn handles over a geometric banded body, impressed Bretby marks to the base, 2296, circa 1900 Note: Dresser's designs and moulds were sold by Linthorpe to the Ault and Bretby potteries in Derbyshire and Staffordshire, when the company closed in 1889. This jardiniere would have been produced form the original Linthorpe mould which Dresser designed
