A collection of unframed architectural drawings relating to the city of Gloucester including a birds eye view plan of the Cathedral precincts, signed bottom right AJ Ault and dated 1945, 91 x 101cm, designs for the Civic Centre and surrounds dated 1943 and a suggested redevelopment of Tedworth district etc, all unframed, together with a further quantity of framed pictures and prints including a 19th century watercolour of a coastal scene with fishing boats and white washed buildings etc, a coloured map of Shropshire after Christopher Saxton, etc
A green glazed pottery jardinière, late 19th Century, designed by Christopher Dresser, manufactured by Linthorpe or Ault, the ovoid body decorated in relief with three frogs climbing up one side, raised on three frog feet, impressed facsimile signature to base, height approx 16.5cm (minor chips). Note: a very similar 'frog bowl' is illustrated, plate number 188, in 'Christopher Dresser' by Widar Halén, p.166, and described as being from Dresser's personal collection.

Ault Pottery green glazed Peacock Vase, individualistic design, attributed to Christopher Dresser Est - £150 to £250 It appears to be in very good condition with no sign of chips, cracks or restoration.There is a small spec of white paint on the breast of the Peacock on one side. The height is approx 41cm From Pottery workshop founded by man called Aultin 1880’s (1887), when he left Bretby pottery. Individualistic design, attributed to Christopher Dresser who worked for Ault. Used for peacock feathers. Marked on base with name Ault and that he’s a vase marker. Glazed pottery, not finely moulded.
