Comes with two early b/w photographs mounted on card of Wallis fishing on a punt with boatman and on the river bank, an Angling Times Article May 8th 1959 by Bernard Venables re Nottingham anglers’ inc. Wallis and letter of COA from Wallis’s great grandson (the vendor). Arguably one of the greatest freshwater anglers, Wallis lent his name to various rods & reels manufactured by Hardy, Allcock and others and developed his unique casting style still used today by purists.
