Registration – JKM 598YChassis No. – SA9DAXM4R1A222M.O.T. – February 2026 (Now exempt certified)Odometer – 3,200KM 598Y’ is a thrilling looking example of an AC Cobra evocation by the first and original UK producers, Dax. ‘JKM 598Y’ was built from the ground up by its diligent first keeper and registered for use in 2003. A MKIV model, ‘JKM 598Y’ is built with the longer footwell body and features a Chevrolet 302 V8 bored out to 5.7 litres. This further benefits from the inclusion of a Chevy / Edelbrock RPM Kit. This takes the Power from around 250BHP to 418BHP and torque from 355Nm to 418Nm. That power is fed to those wide rear wheels via a Tremec five speed manual transmission. ‘JKM 598Y’ comes complete with the highly desirable fastback hardtop in black lending this Cobra an added degree of usability. This is easily removed via four bolts and two latches, when required. ‘JKM 598Y’ has recently undergone a full recommissioning including work to the running gear and suspension. The results of this have been validated by a recent, advisory free MOT which is valid until February 2026. ‘JKM 598Y’ is offered complete with an extensive history file containing all the cars invoices and photographic build record to date. This lightly used, three owner example of the perennially popular AC Cobra evocation is now ready to thrill and delight its next lucky owner.Dax are considered as the pioneers of UK Cobra replica production with their cars offering a highly faithful interpretation of the original. So much so that the chassis designer of the AC Ace, on which the Cobra was based, became a director of Dax in the 1970’s. John Tojeiro became heavily involved in the development of the cars with them even being renamed the Dax Tojeiro for a while.‘JKM 598Y’ showcases that faithful homage to the Cobra perfectly and looks amazing in grey. The black fastback hardtop adds more than a hint of the 1960’s Le Mans racing Cobras’ look and road presence. The big, chromed side pipes and staggered, split rim alloy wheels round the nostalgic look off admirably. The vendor rates both body and paintwork as “excellent.” ‘JKM 598Y’s’ looks are easily equalled by its mechanical specifications. That big 5.7- litre Chevy engine and five speed manual box is exactly what you’d expect and hope to find here. Again, the engine, transmission and electrics are described as “excellent.” The cabin features black leather bucket seats, four point harnesses, a driver’s side roll hoop and a removable wood rimmed steering wheel. The interior earns a vendor rating of “good.” Two pairs of side screens are included for top down use – one set tinted – as is the driver’s side footwell carpet. In summary:· A faithful and striking looking AC Cobra evocation by pioneers Dax· Compete with the highly desirable fastback hardtop· Complete with an advisory free, yearlong MOT and ready to thrillNow Tax and MOT Exempt certified

Labels include notable names like Decca, Philips, RCA Victor, and Editions EG, alongside internationally recognised performers like Ashkenazy, Barenboim, and Moura Lympany. The records reflect a strong focus on classical music, with specific works by Beethoven, Mahler, Chopin, and Rachmaninov, while also incorporating niche ambient compositions.Estimated dimensions suggest standard LP sizes (approximately 31.5 cm x 31.5 cm). Generally with minor changes in detail, but some more obviously altered. Field suggests that the Galloway pack was the 1st edition of this design. However, in his notes Dudley Ollis states that the "3 M's" (Maclure, Macdonald & Macgregor) pack first listed above is the actually the 2nd edition (apparently the 1st edition has a single spade suit sign on the ace of spades) of circa 1865, with the second "3 M's" pack listed above being the 3rd edition, circa 1866. He then gives the Galloway pack last place, describing it as the 4th edition circa 1867, with John Galloway apparently taking over the business from the 3 M's. The nursery rhyme connection only applies to the red court cards: hearts portray 'The Queen of Hearts she made some tarts ...', and diamonds 'The King was in his counting house ...': but only Galloway's version shows the maid (or in this case, manservant) having his nose pecked off by a blackbird.

•Recent restoration• Desirable colour combination• Very good condition throughout• AC Aceca straight six engineLaunched at the 1954 London Motor Show, the Aceca is a closed coupé from the British AC Cars Company, produced from 1954 until 1963. Based on the open two-seat AC Ace, the Aceca was a hand-built grand tourer in the British tradition, with a hand formed aluminium body and lightweight twin tubed ladder chassis used in its construction. One notable feature was the hatchback at the rear, making the Aceca only the second car, after the 1953 Aston Martin DB2/4, to incorporate this element. Built with near 50/50 weight distribution the Aceca is a beautifully handling car for its time. Our car AE513 was first registered on 27th October 1955 and was 13th off the production line. It is a very early and original right hand drive, home market example equipped with the AC straight six engine. Off the road for over 42 years, AE513 has undergone significant restoration work at huge expense bringing it back to its former glory and it is now ready to be enjoyed by the next owner, having covered just 400 miles since much restoration work was carried out.Over recent years this Aceca has benefited from a full bare metal respray in the original colour of Guardsman Blue with all original panels found to be in great shape, the engine was removed and rebuilt, and a full professional re-trim was carried out. The wheels were also refurbished and fitted with new period correct tyres, the carburettors professionally restored along with a great deal of other work painstakingly undertaken and detailed in the history file. This wonderful early car is Mille Miglia eligible and comes with the original buff logbook as well as the current V5C registration document, many invoices relating to the restoration work, and various sundry bills. Having been treated to much work over recent years, this example is ready to be enjoyed by its new custodian. Consigned by Daniel Godin• RECENT RESTORATION• DESIRABLE COLOUR COMBINATION• VERY GOOD CONDITION THROUGHOUT• AC ACECA STRAIGHT SIX ENGINE
