Steiff: An early 20th century, mohair teddy bear, believed to be Steiff, circa 1910. Button eyes, stitched nose and pads, hump back and possible growler (unsure due to lack of working order). Button missing but loop in place, wear to mohair and stitching, brown of eyes discoloured. Height approx. 18". Please assess photographs.

Early 20th century Steiff plush teddy bear, straw filled, with silver button to left ear, having glass eyes, long arms, hump back and moveable joints. 34cm approx. (B.P. 21% + VAT) Snout appears re-stitched and has a little bit of straw coming through, rather grubby and worn. The arms and feet have been re-padded. Some little holes in places. Possibly dating from 1908.
