Ewbanks is the Premier International Antiques and Fine Art Valuers and Auctioneers in Surrey, South London, Hampshire and the South East region, holding quarterly Fine Auctions; and regular specialist sales of Jewellery, Silver, Clocks, Watches and Instruments, Fine Art, Ceramics, Antique Furniture and Works of Art.

We also hold specialist auctions throughout the year, including Entertainment and Memorabilia, 20th Century Art and Design, Asian Art, Militaria, Garden and Architectural, Textiles, Fine Wine and others. Ewbank's also hold monthly Antique and Collectors' auctions. As Surrey's leading independent auctioneers we pride ourselves on being a family firm providing the best service, knowledge and expertise. Chris Ewbank founded Ewbank Fine Art Auctioneers in 1990.

Located in a prominent out of town location just off the A3, ten minutes away from junction 10 of the M25 and about 4 miles from Guildford; Woking main line station is 4 miles with frequent train services to Waterloo.As a family run firm with the highest ethical standards we are dedicated to giving clients and buyers an efficient and friendly service.

We have always maintained the highest standards, adhering to the principles of probity and ethics of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors, of which Chris is a fellow, and the Society of Fine Art Auctioneers and Valuers, of which Ewbank’s are Members. Many of our new clients come to us on recommendation, from professional advisers or existing clients. Buyers can participate in all of our auctions from a device anywhere at the time that the auction is actually in progress through live audio and video links on Ewbanks website and the-saleroom.com.

This gives us an enhanced global marketing ability which we see as the way forward for the Fine Art auction profession; our investment in a strategy of embracing technological advances.Chris Ewbank has taken a very active part in the leadership of the profession within the UK. He has been a member of the Fine Arts Advisory Panel of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors and is past Chairman of its Art and Antiques Professional Group. He was also an elected Member of its International Governing Council ( the highest decision making body in the Institution). He joined the Committee of the Society of Fine Art Auctioneers & Valuers in 1994, (he first became a member in 1982), and was Chairman from 2000 - 2007. He was re-elected to Committee in 2015.
