A WW1 campaign group of three medals named to 14808 Pte J Shelton Northamptonshire regiment 7th (Service) Battalion, comprising BWM, 1914-15 star and victory medal with ribbons mounted on a ribbon bar Note: Pte John Shelton was discharged as 'no longer physically fit for war service' on 24.1.16, due to an injury that occurred at Loos, France, on the 27th Sept when, after falling into a trench, a man jumped from above on top of him, landing on his left knee. (Sold with a photocopy from the National Archives of the soldiers war service record and medical certificate)
