Fine brittle age craquelure and impact cracks, not elevated and all secure, concentrated in thicker passages of paint. Some abrasion to delicate areas of paint, for example the tree limbs over the sky, the bridge, the figure and dog on bridge, birds, the red jacket of the man pushing the sled and the roof at the left. Scattered touches of overpaint to cracks and tiny losses in the sky. Possible overpaint top left corner? Remnants of old varnish in patches. Glossy even varnish, one tiny matt scuff centre above the far house.
